Lucas and Arthur Jussen in Munich – the review – Munich

To title a serious concert series with the empty phrase “Bravissimo” is a sign of humor. But as bravura as the Jussen brothers (the Dutch piano duo Lucas and Arthur Jussen) jump around on the podium of the Isarphilharmonie to applause after their performance of Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos KV 365 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the motto fits. They happily give a (first) encore, which could be very nice if it had a defined tempo.
