Six-year-old Arian has continued to disappear. The boy has been missing since Monday. The search continues.

The search for six-year-old Arian from Elm in the north, who has been missing since Monday evening Lower Saxony continued with increased forces on Friday morning. “Today we are setting everything to zero and starting again locally,” said a police spokesman. The search should begin at the starting point at the parents’ apartment. “We will then draw circles and expand little by little,” he said.

Many hundreds of helpers were on duty again on Friday; including around 300 Bundeswehr forces.

On Friday night, the police carried out several actions to attract the little boy’s attention. So-called sky beamers were used to throw cones of light onto the night sky. “The boy might react positively to something like that,” the spokesman said. Children’s songs were also played over loudspeakers in the search area until early morning.

Arian has been missing since Monday evening. According to police, he was last seen in his home area around 7:15 p.m. A surveillance camera filmed him running towards an adjacent forest. It was said that the six-year-old may have walked from there past a rapeseed field along an unpaved road into the forest. According to police, the boy is autistic and does not respond to speech.
