Apparently to supplement her pocket money and because she didn’t want to go for a walk, an eleven-year-old in Lower Bavaria sold the family dog to a stranger without her parents’ knowledge. The girl’s father reported the incident, as reported by the Landshut Police Inspectorate on Wednesday.
The child went for a walk with the Yorkshire terrier in Essenbach north of Landshut on Monday, but apparently didn’t feel like it. She quickly offered the dog to a stranger for several hundred euros and took the money.
The father found out about the sale when his daughter came home without a dog. However, the police could not help the man and advised him to search for the buyer and take civil action.
