Numerous citizens have to prepare for new strikes on buses and trains. On Wednesday, Verdi members in North Rhine-Westphalia, the largest state with 18 million inhabitants, voted for indefinite strikes. The union wants to achieve, among other things, more days off for 30,000 employees in local public transport.
