Liverpool FC: Jürgen Klopp apparently impressed by Porto’s Luis Diaz

Will Liverpool FC soon be using a group opponent from the premier class? There are rumors about Porto’s Luis Diaz.

Offensive player Luis Diaz (24) from FC Porto has apparently left an impression on Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp and could therefore also be a candidate for a transfer to the Premier League club. This is reported by the Portuguese newspaper Record.

Last Wednesday, Porto and the Reds dueled in the Champions League, while Klopp is said to have been impressed by Diaz’s performance and subsequently agreed to a concrete campaign for the Colombian.

The Portuguese have not yet received an offer. Diaz’s contract with the Portuguese top club runs until 2024.

Liverpool FC: exit clause for candidate Luis Diaz?

According to reports, his contract should contain an interesting detail: Apparently Diaz has an exit clause of 80 million euros. With a suitable offer, the Dragoes would be willing to move away from it.

The most expensive exit in Porto history to date is Eder Militao: He went to Real Madrid for 50 million euros in 2019. So Diaz could top this.

Liverpool FC has competition from Luis Diaz

But Liverpool is not the only one interested in the 24-year-old: There was and is speculation around Newcastle, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion.

In the current season Diaz made 18 competitive games for Porto and convinced with eleven hits and two assists.
