The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has Kremlin chief Wladimir Putin to direct conversations asked. “If you don’t want to leave Ukraine (with your troops), sit down at the negotiating table with me, I have time,” Zelenskyi told journalists. “But not at a distance of 30 meters like with (French President Emmanuel) Macron, (Chancellor Olaf) Scholz – I’m a neighbor after all,” said Zelenskyj. “I don’t bite. I’m a normal guy. Sit with me, tell me what you’re afraid of”said the 44-year-old.
Zelenskyj called on NATO again to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine. “If you don’t want to close the sky now, give a deadline,” he said. “Tell me how many people should fly up in the air, how many arms, legs, heads do you need for that to get through to you?” A no-fly zone is considered impossible because it would lead to a direct confrontation between NATO troops and Russian armed forces.
