Russian missile strikes on the city of Zaporizhia and the Dnepropetrovsk region left at least three people dead overnight, local authorities reported on Wednesday.
“This night (Wednesday), between 1:33 a.m. and 1:48 a.m. (12:33 a.m. to 12:48 a.m. Paris time),” Russia fired “six missiles at the city of Zaporizhia,” the governor of this southern region, Yuriï Malachko, wrote on Telegram. According to the Ukrainian Defense, two people were killed and five injured. Police said one of the missiles hit a building. Three people may still be under the rubble, a spokesperson for the rescuers, Yulia Barycheva, told AFP. According to her, the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors were largely destroyed. According to the regional governor, Yuriï Malachko, it was a Russian S-300 missile which hit the building.

Furthermore, the governor of the Kherson region accuses Russia of killing one person in a village in the oblast after an aerial bomb strike, comments reported by the Kyiv Independent. A Russian attack also killed a civilian and injured three others on Wednesday in the Ukrainian region of Dnipro according to the regional governor, cited by The Guardian.
