MORE DETAILS ON THE CORPORATE HEALTH PASS
The Minister of Labor, Elisabeth Borne, is due to meet the social partners on Monday at 11 a.m. in order to discuss a possible health pass in the company. According to the minister’s office, the government wishes to impose it “in all companies in the country without exception”, “even those which have no physical and direct contact with the general public”.
The device would be the same as that applied today in the hotel sector, coffee shops, or in care and medico-social establishments, presides the cabinet. It could be called the “work” pass.
“It is up to the employer or, if applicable, the manager of the establishment that it is up to the control of the employees’ health pass. The control must be carried out every day”, indicates the cabinet of Elisabeth Thick headed. If the employee refuses, he could be forced to telework or if this is impossible the establishment of paid leave or RTT, or even unpaid leave.
The application of the pass would not make it possible to alleviate the health constraints already present in the company, such as the wearing of a mask.
The executive would like to see this pass applied “as quickly as possible”. “This will go through the law which will be examined on January 5. With an application timetable to be discussed with the social partners.”
