OM are still trying to convince Iliman Ndiaye

OM still believe in it for Iliman Ndiaye. While the trend is more for what remains at Sheffield United, the Marseille club is still trying to convince the 23-year-old striker.

Earlier this week, RMC Sport detailed the turnaround in this case: while an agreement had been reached between the player and OM, the English club had regained control to convince Iliman Ndiaye to stay. The player’s thinking has not changed at all and nothing says today that Marseille will be able to reverse the trend.

But the Pablo Longoria-Javier Ribalta duo has not said its last word. To date, the two leaders have already convinced three players to join OM this summer: Geoffrey Kondogbia and Renan Lodi have left Atlético to sign for Marseille, the free arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will soon be announced.

One of the keys to the file is in Shelffield. Promoted to the Premier League this season, the club are promising an extension and an increased role for Iliman Ndiaye, under contract until 2024.

The midfielder, currently in full preparation under the orders of the new PSG coach, wants to play the Champions League next season, a competition that Roma will not compete in: sixth in Serie A last season, the Roman club is qualified for the Europa League.
