Registrations against Benjamin Mendy: complaint confirmed by FC Lorient for defamation
FC Lorient has confirmed that it has filed a complaint for defamation at the Lorient police station after the displays made during the night of Friday to last Saturday by a collective which denounced the arrival of Benjamin Mendy at the club. The slogans also targeted Wissam Ben Yedder and Achraf Akimi currently implicated by justice.

On X, the group of ultras from Bordeaux gave their version of the facts about what happened on Monday evening.
“When we gathered at the Ajaccio stadium, we had only one desire: to support our players in this match. In France, supporting a football team should not be an offence. First there was this decree insane, laid forty-eight hours before the match… While some supporters were already on their way or even arrived on site, others were preparing to leave after incurring heavy expenses. the choice: give in to fear or proudly assume our support for our colors as we have done in the past during prohibited trips (Strasbourg, Sochaux…) or hostile trips with minimal security (Turkey, Greece, Kazakhstan.. After arriving late at the stadium, we gathered as far as possible from the Ajaccien kop, as we have done on various occasions in this kind of context. Our desire was clear: to attend the match and support our team, without creating waves.
From then on, we suffered the incessant assaults of Corsican supporters, suffered heavy projectile jets which caused minor injuries. A surge which caused the interruption of the match as well as our exclusion from the stadium. We didn’t attack or insult anyone: we were beaten for who we are: Girondins supporters, and for singing for a moment to the glory of our legendary club. Through this communication, we do not intend to whine but rather fully assume our actions and give them a political dimension. Because our fight goes much further than the passion of our club.”
The Bordeaux ultras present on the spot had no violent intentions
The Bordeaux leaders reacted quickly and firmly to the incidents which broke out in the stands on Monday evening between the Girondins and Ajaccio. Repeated events begin to annoy internally. The timing of these events is particularly in question. “The context means that they could have protested in a different way, confides a source close to the club. A few months after Rodez, that’s a lot.”
As soon as the match was interrupted, the Bordeaux board exchanged to quickly draw a press release and show firmness. Bordeaux condemns the movement of this “minority” of supporters. The ultras present on the spot had, despite everything, no violent inclinations. They have also defied these bans several times without any act of violence in Strasbourg in Ligue 1 or Sochaux on March 11. At the club, we regret not having been able to organize a supervised trip with parking, but the prefecture of Corse du Sud feared a clash between Girondin supporters after tensions arose during the reception of Concarneau a week ago between the Ultramarines and the North Gate, a group of ultras who moved to the north bend last season after breaking away from the UB87s. As we speak, there has been no exchange between the Bordeaux management and its supporters.
In Bordeaux, we insist on the desire not to fight, simply to fight against the travel ban even if “this behavior in no way reflects the culture of Bordeaux supporters.” In its press release, the club “strongly condemns the non-respect by an isolated group of the prefectural decree prohibiting their presence at the stadium.”

Ajaccien leaders point to “premeditated” action by Bordeaux residents
In the entourage of the leaders of AC Ajaccio hinted this morning that the action of the supporters of the Girondins de Bordeaux was “premeditated”. We especially point the finger at the management by the police of this sequence around the meeting between Ajaccio and Bordeaux. For some Corsican leaders, the police services were “perfectly aware” of the presence before the meeting of Bordeaux supporters and did not “take any action” to put aside, or secure, these supporters banned from traveling. Ajaccio-Bordeaux: behind the scenes of the evening from the point of view of the police
Monday night’s encounter was rated a level 3 out of 5 by the DNLH. Thirteen public security personnel from Ajaccio were mobilized for this meeting between Ajaccio and Bordeaux on the third day of Ligue 2.
A total of 123 police officers were mobilized, including 110 from the mobile forces units. According to police sources, around sixty Bordeaux supporters still managed to enter the AC Ajaccio enclosure. According to information from RMC Sport, they used the club ticket office completely normally.
The first count made on the spot Monday evening reported ten minor injuries, eight Bordeaux supporters and two stewards. When the meeting resumed at 9:55 p.m., the situation had stabilized, according to the police. It was then at 10.10 p.m. that the Bordeaux supporters were evacuated from the stadium environment, accompanied to their vehicles and escorted to their places of residence. Monday evening after the incidents, an investigation was opened by the Ajaccio prosecution of the head of aggravated violence within a sports arena.

The LFP will look into the incidents of Ajaccio-Bordeaux
In parallel with justice, the LFP will also open proceedings after Ajaccio-Bordeaux. The file will be investigated on Wednesday by the LFP disciplinary committee.
Bordeaux risks a closure of its visitor parking lots for its meetings outside. Both clubs are not helped by their previous disciplinary cases. AC Ajaccio comes out of behind closed doors and the Girondins from a match lost at the end of last season against Rodez.
The LFP is waiting to see how Bordeaux will react to the Ultramarines and what measures will be taken. Finally, the identifications of the individuals involved in this fight will be decisive in this case.

Investigation opened after the incidents in Ajaccio
