In the London trial against Boris Becker for delaying bankruptcy, details from his marriage to Lilly Becker also come to light. The Dutch woman is said to have thrown a tantrum when he was declared bankrupt.

Boris Becker is currently facing 24 charges of delaying bankruptcy in a London trial. However, he himself denies all charges. A marriage crisis with Lilly Becker came out in court. When Boris Becker was originally declared bankrupt, his wife reacted very emotionally and threw the furniture out the window, reports “The National”. His son Elias Becker, from his first marriage to Barbara, is said to have informed him about what was happening: “I was embarrassed. My son Elias called me and told me that my wife threw furniture out of the window and freaked out.”
Despite bankruptcy, Becker transferred funds to his ex-wives
Shortly thereafter, funds relevant to the process flowed to both ex-wives. According to the prosecutor Rebecca Chalkley, Barbara Becker is said to have received around 23,000 euros and around 10,000 euros from his company accounts in 2017 during the ongoing insolvency. His ex-wife Lilly was probably a transfer of around 100,000 euros. In the process, Boris Becker said that he thought that he was only privately insolvent, but not for business and that his business accounts were still usable for him, writes the “Bild” newspaper.
