Poland’s national team has taken a big step towards the European Championships in Germany. Coach Michal Probierz’s team clearly won 5-1 (1-0) against Estonia in the playoff semi-finals and is now in the final next Tuesday. Goalscorer Robert Lewandowski failed to score, but the former FC Bayern goalscorer prepared the goal to make it 3-0.
The Poles took the lead with a goal from Przemyslaw Frankowski (22nd minute). The hosts also benefited from the early yellow-red card against the Estonian midfielder Maksim Paskotsi (27th).
