That was a short pleasure on “Let’s Dance” for comedian Maria Clara Groppler and her professional dancer Mikael Tatarkin. They had to leave the show on the first evening. The comedian seems pissed off.

Weeks of hard physical preparation go into participating in the dance show “Let’s Dance” ahead. Many celebrities reach their limits before the show even flickers across their home TV screens. It’s all the more annoying when you have to leave the popular dance contest right at the beginning. Like the comedian Maria Clara Groppler and her professional dancer Mikael Tatarkin on Friday evening.

Their dance performance didn’t bring the two of them into last place with at least ten jury points, so all the training beforehand was worth it. And yet Groppler and Tatarkin had the fewest number of viewers calling. Maybe also because the juror Joachim Llambi had really rounded out the dancing couple: “I like cheeky young women, they are tough and know where they want to go. If these young women have such a big mouth, then they have to deliver. You didn’t do that. (…) The fringes were almost frozen with rigor mortis. Every beat counts. You really have to attack it.”

“Let’s Dance” eliminator Groppler complains on Instagram

Both together, the criticism and the expulsion, seem to be reason enough for the comedian to follow up on Instagram. On Friday evening she posted an Instagram story in which she made it clear that she felt misrepresented by the dance show. First, she apparently wants to make it clear that she is sad about being eliminated and that she has trained really hard. Then the otherwise funny comedian becomes serious and complains that she was portrayed incorrectly in the clips.

“The clips only showed moments in which I was being silly and on ‘Let’s Dance’ there are so many comments that I simply had no ambition, but I’ve been preparing for it for weeks. It’s a shame that it was portrayed like that,” writes Maria Clara Groppler in her Instagram story. This includes, among other things, scenes in which she fooled around with an ironing board and even gave it a name.

In another slide, she shares a private message from a follower who writes, among other things: “…Unfortunately, Maz was really bad, but anyone who has followed you over the last few weeks knows how much effort you put in. .”. But that doesn’t change the fact that Groppler will no longer be ironing on the floor starting next week.
