Leonhardi ride in Warngau: Ilse Aigner’s carriage overturns – Bavaria

Moment of shock for Ilse Aigner: During the Leonhardi ride in Warngau, the state parliament president’s carriage of honor overturned because the horses had shied away from a dog. According to the police headquarters in Oberbayern Süd, all occupants were unharmed. With warm autumn temperatures and after a two-year break, traditional costume clubs from the district of Miesbach and the surrounding area once again set out with splendid carriages for the pilgrimage from All Saints’ Day to Reitham and back. At around 11 a.m., however, a runaway dog ran under the carriage and the horses bolted. The coachman pulled the horses to the left, came off the road, and the carriage overturned. Ilse Aigner and three other inmates fell into a meadow. Both humans and animals were uninjured.
