North Korean hackers Lazarus Group moved over $1 million worth of Bitcoin on January 8 after weeks of inactivity.
According to blockchain analyst Arkham Intelligence, Lazarus Group transferred 27.371 BTC worth $1.2 million at current prices in two transfers from the transaction concealment service. Lazarus Group then sent 3.343. BTC $150,582 worth went to an unused wallet address they had previously used.
Arkham shows it has $79 million worth of money in Lazarus Group’s portfolio after the transaction. Although it is impossible to guess the intentions of criminal groups, But this transfer may indicate that something is being prepared.
