Genesis gave their last concert on Saturday. Phil Collins said goodbye with his bandmates in London.

Genesis gave three more concerts from March 24th to 26th on their “The last domino?” tour in London. Now it’s all over. At the last performance of the legendary British band it also got emotional, as reported by the “Daily Mail”..

As with the last Germany concerts, Phil Collins (71), who was in poor health, performed sitting down with his son Nicholas (20) on the drums. The musician rose again and was celebrated with standing ovations along with his bandmates Mike Rutherford (71) and Tony Banks (72).

“It’s the last show for Genesis”

“It’s the last stop on our tour and it’s the last show for Genesis,” Collins said. Apparently, the Brit couldn’t resist a joke: “After tonight we all have to get real jobs.” Perhaps the final date of March 26 was quite fitting as a special gift for Banks. The musician is celebrating his 72nd birthday on March 27th.

Numerous fans reported via social media and explained, among other things, that they would probably never forget the concert, as the band shows in their Instagram Stories. A user thanked Genesis for the “soundtrack of my entire life”.
