Buying tips for a laptop up to 500 euros

Before you decide on a notebook, you should be aware that the low price is also associated with certain limitations. This starts with the weaker processor, goes beyond the smaller main memory and ends with the working speed of the computer being affected accordingly. You can add a fast SSD to almost any laptop up to 500 euros.

Saving also means doing without: If you want to buy an inexpensive laptop, you will probably have to do without some comforts, such as a fingerprint scanner or a keyboard light. The same goes for UHD displays and touchscreens – although it has to be said that while they are nice additions, they are not necessary for problem-free gaming, working or surfing.

If you only need the laptop every now and then, for example to be able to work on the go, many of the features of an expensive notebook are not necessary. When buying, make sure that you choose a device that meets your personal needs. They know better than any salesperson what features a laptop should and shouldn’t have.
