According to police reports, 15 people were injured, five of them seriously, in an accident involving a public bus with students on board in Lower Bavaria on Wednesday. The bus driver was among the seriously injured.
According to police, 13 students were on the bus. According to the information, the bus left a district road near Laberweinting (Straubing-Bogen district) in the early afternoon and drove into the ditch.
The exact course and cause of the accident initially remained unclear. The road was closed for rescue and accident investigation.
