The row of garages in the Altstadtpassage is not necessarily one of the sights of Ebersberg – or rather: counted. Because from Good Friday, April 15, to October 15, there will be art to see there. This was already the case last summer, during the “Arkadien-Festival” the Munich “Klo-häuschen” from Tassilo award winner Anja Uhlig was visiting in the garage.

On Good Friday, the satellite exhibition series “La Garaasch” by the Kunstverein Ebersberg begins there. First, Marcel Kovarik moves in and sprays the walls of the garage with his airbrush gun. The first results will be presented at the Midissage on April 29th. By May 15th, Marcel Kovarik will complete his work and hand over part of his work to the artist Maria Kulikovska. The Ukrainian artist is currently preparing an exhibition on the current situation in Ukraine. She will also leave part of her work behind for her successor Sophia Mainka, who will take over on June 15, followed by Johannes Gottwald, who will move into the garage on June 15. Anja Uhlig will also be presenting her art in the garage again, before the Schirin Kreitschmann class will mark the end of the season on September 15th, which will end on October 15th.
