Kunsthalle Munich: Artificial intelligence meets sea of flowers – Munich

They swing, we swing, they swing again – this is how you can have fun in the Kunsthalle Munich on Theatinerstrasse. The interactive installation by the Franco-Mexican artist Miguel Chevalier can be seen there. It is a virtual flower garden titled “Extra Natural” created using AI software.

Whoever is inside influences the moving flower show with their movements. And whoever steps out of the installation is still in a sea of flowers in the Kunsthalle. For the current exhibition “Flowers Forever”, the curators have put together 200 works from all eras and cultures to do with flowers. Sound cheesy? Perhaps. But who doesn’t need a little more color in life in this far too long, gray winter?

And as long as the flowers in the city’s parks and gardens are still a long time coming, you can at least go and look for them in and on works of art. And maybe a few vibrations in tandem with AI flowers will awaken new spirits – for inner spring.
