Grafing cultural association:“Diogenes-Quartett” makes a guest appearance in Grafing

The Grafing cultural association is pleased to finally be able to end its forced break: the next Sunday, October 17th, at 7 p.m. Diogenes Quartet in the town hall. Stefan and Gundula Kirpal (violins), Alba Gonzales i Becerra (viola) and Stephen Ristau (violoncello) will be the first piece of Joseph Haydn’s string quartet op 76 no. 3 in C major (Hob. III: 77) – the famous “Kaiserquartett” – make it heard. With the second movement you can sit back and relax, because the German national anthem is played in a variation movement. This is followed by five pieces for a string quartet by Erwin Schulhoff, who was murdered in the concentration camp in 1942. Johannes Brahms’ String Quartet in A minor op 51 no.2 concludes with the concert. Tickets for the concert are available from the Slawik bookstore at (08092) 1015, from the Bräuer bookstore at (08092) 9437 and the Haenisch office at (08092) 310 25 . Admission costs 18 euros, reduced 16 euros. Student cards for just three euros will also be offered as usual. All visitors must comply with the 3-G rule; the number of listeners is limited due to the distance requirement.
