Karlheinz Böhm’s daughter is shooting again

Kristina Boehm is back. After a long break, Karlheinz Böhm’s daughter is back in front of the camera. She is a guest on “Unter Uns”.
Like her father, “Sissi” star Karlheinz Böhm (1928-2014), Kristina Böhm was also drawn to acting. However, she rarely works in front of the camera. The actress, born in 1959, is now making an exception for “Unter Uns”. From May 9th, Kristina Böhm will play a guest role in the long-running RTL series.
In episode 6862, Kristina Böhm embodies Heidemarie Wiegandt, a former neighbor of David Junker (Diego Carlos Seyfarth, 37). Paco (Miloš Vuković, 40) and Jakob (Alexander Milo, 42) try to talk to her to find out more about David’s past. After all, they still don’t trust him. The neighbor has only good things to say about David, but unintentionally reveals a family secret.
Back in acting after a long break
After her husband, entrepreneur Peter Rothen, died in 2004 and her father died in 2014, Kristina Böhm retired from acting. Kristina Böhm was not only active as an actress, but also as an author and singer. In 1996 she took part in the “Grand Prix der Volksmusik”. She is involved in charitable causes, such as her father’s “People for People” foundation. But acting has always been her favorite pastime. “I like to embody roles that pass something on,” says Böhm to RTL. “I like doing that and I think it’s important.”
She always enjoys watching the “Sissi” films with which her father became a star in the 1950s. “I’m the biggest Sissi fan!” she says according to RTL. “I don’t just watch them at Christmas, I actually watch them all the time. I loved my father very much and I miss him and that’s why I really enjoy watching the films because it’s such a nice feeling for me.”
