Shortly before the premiere, Kristin Davis remembers the late Willie Garson with a group photo from the set of “And Just Like That …”.
Shortly before the start of the “Sex and the City” sequel “And Just Like That …”, Kristin Davis (56) remembered her deceased friend and colleague Willie Garson (1964-2021) on Instagram.
On the group picture, which was created during the first excerpt from the script, shows Davis himself, Cynthia Nixon (55), Sarah Jessica Parker (56), Mario Cantone (61) and Garson. Davis wrote: “I wanted to start today by appreciating friends old and new. Especially our dear Willie Garson.”
In addition to the well-known stars of the original series, some newcomers can also be seen: Sara Ramírez (46), Karen Pittman (35), Cathy Ang (26) and Alexa Swinton. Davis continues: “It was a happy reunion and also the first time we met some of our incredible new friends and performers.”
“We wish he could be here”
The premiere of the new series “And Just Like That …” will take place on Wednesday evening. A day later, “you can finally see them all, along with Willie’s brilliant performance,” Davis continued. “We wish he could be here to celebrate with us. But we know he is enjoying the great spectacle from afar.”
