A drunk man put his car gently into the ditch on Friday night on Sanatoriumsstraße in Krailling. A passer-by who was driving by there in the early hours of the morning stopped and looked and finally informed the police. When a patrol crew checked the car a short time later, they also found the driver there, whose breath gave off a suspicious odor. In any case, the 57-year-old from Puchheim was asked to take a breath alcohol test, which, according to the police report, indicated that the alcohol level was significantly too high. The onward journey was prevented and the driver’s license was secured. After a blood draw, the man was able to continue on foot. He faces a criminal complaint for drunk driving and a longer driving ban. The 57-year-old’s car was slightly damaged.
