Soon after the United Nations command reported that a US citizen had gone missing in the Joint Security Area (JSA) on the North Korean side, an eyewitness account circulated in South Korean media. A Swedish woman posted on Facebook that she had noticed something. She apparently belonged to the same group with which the said American visited the prominent border post in the former village of Panmunjom in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) between South and North Korea on Tuesday.
