The corona-plagued concert organizers demanded more exercise in the fresh air – they particularly wanted more time on the magnificent, spacious and central Munich Königsplatz. As an exception, the city then granted them three days of play on the usual three concert weekends for 2023. The organizers, however, do not take advantage of this at all, only five instead of the nine possible major concerts this year go on the big stage in front of the Propylaea: the old rockers made the prelude Def Leppard and Motley Crue with a double concert, followed by alt-pop poet Peter Gabriel in front of a reasonably well-filled ranks.
