Scolding others is a tried and tested policy in politics and is currently being used particularly excessively. The Bavarians complain about the Berlin traffic lights (“they put us at a disadvantage”), the opposition in the Free State scolds the government (“they can’t do it”). That’s obviously how it should be, that’s how it was when Social Affairs Minister Ulrike Scharf presented her new childcare plans.
