The municipality of Kirchheim has two additional MVG rental bike stations. These are located on Pfarrer-Caspar-Mayr-Platz at the confluence with Estermannweg and in the Räter shopping center. They complement the long-standing stations on Domagkstraße, Ammerthalstraße and at Heimstetten S-Bahn station. The MVG rental bike system includes more than 300 stations with 4,400 bikes in the state capital and in 21 district municipalities. Borrowing works via the “MVG more” app. Kirchheim has been a member of the cycle-friendly municipalities working group in Bavaria since 2019.
