Kirchheim – disabilities on the district road M 1 – district of Munich

Road users will have to be prepared for impairments on the M1 district road in Kirchheim in the coming months. On Monday, May 30, the first phase of construction begins on the M 1, where a new roundabout and a new footpath and cycle path are being built; the work on the first section is expected to last until mid-August. With two lanes open, the M 1 will remain passable during this period, but Weißenfelder Straße Nord with its entrances and exits to the commercial area will be completely closed. Traffic in and out of Weißenfelder Straße will be diverted via Feldkirchner and Ammerthalstraße. The southern part of Weißenfelder Straße will also be closed, traffic will be diverted here via the M 1 and M 18, and access to Ammerthal will then only be possible from Weißenfeld. In addition, the cycle path along the M1 to and from Poing will be closed, and a diversion will be set up for cyclists via the Heimstetten industrial park.
