King Charles III will go to the hospital next week where he will be treated for an enlarged prostate.

Also King Charles III. (75) has to go to the hospital. Buckingham Palace announced this on Wednesday afternoon. Accordingly, the monarch will expand next week due to an enlarged Have prostate treated. His public appointments have been postponed.

Specifically, the statement says, from the British media, including “Sky News”quote: “Like thousands of men every year, the King has had himself examined for an enlarged prostate. His Majesty’s condition is clear and he will go to hospital next week for an operation. The King’s public appearances will be short Recovery period postponed.”

Kate also had to have surgery

The palace’s announcement came less than two hours after it was announced that Charles’ daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, 42, had undergone abdominal surgery and would remain in a London hospital for up to two weeks.

As the responsible Kensington Palace officially announced on the royal family’s website, among other things, the operation was said to have been a “planned” procedure. The report also came with a slight all-clear on Kate’s health: “The operation was successful and she is expected to remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning home to continue her recovery.” Apparently it will still take some time until normality returns. Because the statement also says: “According to current medical knowledge, it is unlikely that she will be able to return to public before Easter.”

However, we probably won’t find out much more, because with the statement Kate also expressed her wish for privacy in this matter.

Princess Kate’s last public appearance was at Sandringham at Christmas, when she walked to the church service with her husband Prince William (41) and their three children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).
