According to The Sun King Charles is said to have visited his daughter-in-law, who is currently recovering from abdominal surgery. She is expected to be released in the next few days, but will continue to recover. The wife of heir to the throne William (41) should therefore not make any appointments until Easter.
It is still unclear how long Charles will be out after his procedure. Royal experts expect that he will spend two nights in hospital. Buckingham Palace said the monarch would thank everyone “who has sent their good wishes over the past week.” He said he was “delighted” that his diagnosis was having “a positive impact on public health awareness.”
According to Camilla, he is looking forward to getting back to work soon
The treatment was announced last week. The monarch had not attended any appointments since then. He spent most of his time at his home in Birkhall and traveled to London on Thursday. Camilla said at an event that her husband was “doing well” and was looking forward to getting back to work after his treatment.
