Royal couple travels to Hamburg in the ICE
King Charles and Camilla have made themselves comfortable in the ICE. Upon arrival in Hamburg, the umbrella was required.

Charles and Camilla traveled from Berlin to Hamburg in the ICE. There are still a few items on the program before they leave.
King Charles III (74) is known for its commitment to environmental protection. Appropriately, he travels with his wife Camilla (75) by train from Berlin to Hamburg on the last day of his visit to Germany. The royal couple sat in a regular ICE, but in a car locked for them, as reported by the NDR, among others. They were expected in Hamburg in rainy weather by Mayor Peter Tschentscher (57) and his wife Eva-Maria.
In Hamburg, at the end of their trip, Charles and Camilla will visit the “Kindertransport – The Last Farewell” memorial and the St. Nikolai memorial. The royal couple will also sign the city’s golden book. According to NDR, numerous people are already waiting for the royals on the town hall market.

In the afternoon, the king will take a boat trip in the harbor with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (67), while Camilla will visit an elementary school with Steinmeier’s wife Elke Büdenbender (61). There will also be a reception hosted by the British Embassy.
Before that, Charles and Camilla were in Berlin for two days. A state banquet was held there in their honour. The king also gave a speech in the Bundestag on Thursday.
