Kim Kardashian has big ambitions: She’s taking on the lead role in a new comedy that film studios are already lining up for.
Kim Kardashian (43) is apparently aiming for a new milestone in her career as an actress: As the industry portal “Deadline” reports, the influencer and entrepreneur, who can already be seen successfully on the screens with the reality TV series “The Kardashians”, is currently preparing for a new major film role. Accordingly, she should take on the leading role in the comedy “The 5th Wheel”.
The film studios are lining up
The script writer is therefore the long-time “Saturday Night Live” author Paula Pell (60). She will also act as a co-producer alongside Kim Kardashian. Stand-up comedian Janine Brito is also working on the script as an additional author. With “The 5th Wheel” the women want to produce a “female comedy”. According to Deadline, five film studios are currently fighting to be allowed to make the film.
Kardashian was very involved in the pitch for the film project and personally appeared at every meeting to present the project, according to the portal. Therefore, the studios would now be queuing up with their offers.
Kim Kardashian has so much acting experience
The reality TV personality doesn’t have much experience as an actress in films with fictional plots: she has provided her voice for two “Paw Patrol” films so far. She also appeared as a publicist in the final season of American Horror Story. Now she apparently wants to further expand her work as an actress.
