Do you live like Kevin McCallister once? That will soon be possible. The famous mansion from “Home Alone” has landed on Airbnb.

The family film “Kevin – Alone at Home” with Macaulay Culkin (41) is one of the Christmas classics. Anyone who wants to check out for themselves the best place to set traps against burglars in Kevin McCallister’s villa in Winnetka, Illinois, will soon have the opportunity to do so. Via the booking platform Airbnb you can try to book the famous film house in time for Christmas from December 7th.

A festively decorated Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations will be waiting for those interested as special extras. If you like, you can also set up some “traps” or watch the latest part of the series called “Not Alone Again at Home”. In any other way, however, you shouldn’t let it rip: “No parties or events” is in the house rules. Another catch: The offer is only for one day. Only those who are very lucky are allowed to move into the villa with three other people on December 12th.

Not the first film location

Time and again, film fans are given the opportunity to temporarily move into the home of their favorite movie heroes. The house of “Twilight” figure Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart, 31) in St. Helens, Oregon, has already been rented.

And if you wanted to walk in the footsteps of Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr., 56), you could book the remote hut in Atlanta, Georgia, where he and his loved one Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow, 49) had retired.
