Kevin Bacon is excited about celebrating 40 years of Footloose. Interviewed by Entertainment Tonight on the sidelines of the premiere of Leave the World Behindhis new Netflix film, the 65-year-old actor hinted that fans of the 1984 classic can expect something to mark the milestone anniversary.
“Stay tuned,” warned the actor who, while refraining from revealing the slightest detail, took this opportunity to recall to what extent the musical film marked his life.

” 40 years. This is one of those (unforgettable) films. He changed my life. It would be a lie to say otherwise, admitted Kevin Bacon. At the time I had already been working for a while and I knew I was going to pursue this career for the long term. I considered myself a dramatic actor – which I am. But (my role in Footloose) established itself in people’s imagination and then my life changed. »
