At the amFAR gala in Venice, Kate Beckinsale provided a fashion highlight. She wore a special glamor robe.

The amFAR gala at the 80th Venice Film Festival on Sunday evening (September 3rd) provided some glamor that has only been part of the festival so far. Because of the double strike by actors and screenwriters in Hollywood, not many stars are there. Among other things, the charity gala came Kate Beckinsale (50), Milla Jovovich (47) and Bella Thorne (25).

Beckinsale wore a roomy, sheer black gown with glittery gold detailing to the event. The British actress completed her glam look with heeled platform pumps and statement earrings. She wore her hair tied back tightly.

Kate Beckinsale with mourning tattoo

Just a few days ago Kate Beckinsale, who celebrated her breakthrough about 20 years ago with films like “Pearl Harbor” or “Underworld”, unveiled a new tattoo. So she has processed the death of her cat: On Instagram, the actress posted a photo of her forearm, on which a perfectly shaded drawing of the cat Clive’s head is emblazoned.

The face of the pet is entwined with fine graphic stars, signs and circles. Regarding the pictures and a video showing the piercing process, the actress writes: “It really helped” and thanks her tattoo artist.

Beckinsale: ‘My heart is absolutely and completely broken’

Clive had died in June of that year at the age of 15 or 16. Even then, Beckinsale expressed her grief with an Instagram post. You can’t even look at photos of the cat at the moment, Beckinsale wrote in it. “Every single corner of my house feels like it should be there. If anyone is expecting a response from me, that’s not going to happen for now, I’m sorry.” And clarified: “My heart is absolutely and completely broken.”
