Actress Kate Beckinsale posts a touching review on Instagram on the 43rd anniversary of her father’s death.
Kate Beckinsale (48) remembers her late father Richard Beckinsale (1947-1979). To honor the 43rd anniversary of his death, the actress posted old photos and emotional lines on Instagram. “I can’t remember how it feels not to miss him,” writes the “Van Helsing” star. She is always aware of how life can be shattered. “May all fathers everywhere come home safely,” the actress wishes.
Alongside the touching words, Beckinsale shared a black and white photo of her and her father. In the picture that bears his signature, he looks lovingly at the little girl. She also posts a picture taken with her famous mother, actress Judith Margaret Loe (75). Everyone smiles at the camera.
He was only 31 years old
Richard Beckinsale died on March 19, 1979 at the age of 31 from a massive heart attack. At that time his daughter was only five years old. Despite this, she followed in her parents’ footsteps. In addition to his wife, the late Richard Beckinsale was also known as an actor. He played Lennie Godber on the BBC sitcom Porridge and its sequel Going Straight and Alan Moore on the ITV sitcom Rising Damp.
