Karl Ove Knausgård’s book “The Forest and the River” – Culture

When Karl Ove Knausgård wrote about “Autumn,” in the first of his four books about the seasons, he featured a badger. This was one of the few animals, he wrote, that had escaped humanization. The badger is neither good-natured nor evil, neither cunning nor easily deceived, but lives in its deep, old burrow and goes its own way.
