Ex-Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge protects PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi. He’s doing a good job in Paris.
Bayern’s ex-CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge cannot understand the ongoing criticism of PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi. According to the 66-year-old, the sheikh is doing a good job with the Parisians.
Al-Khelaifi should “under no circumstances” vacate his post at the top French club, Rummenigge said in an interview with the L’Equipe: “Where was PSG before Nasser?” The Qatari businessman led Paris Saint-Germain from insignificance to one of the top clubs in Europe.
Rummenigge advises PSG to be patient
Al-Khelaifi stood last because of his Referee’s cabin visit after the Champions League game against Real Madrid under criticism. There the 48-year-old and PSG sports director Leandro is said to have tried to gain access to referee Danny Makkelie’s locker room. In the UEFA report, “aggressive behavior” was attested to both.
