In the Alberto Salazar case, justice decided not to be more lenient. The former coach, among others, of Mo Farah, four-time Olympic champion and six-time world champion (5,000 and 10,000 m), was suspended at the end of September after a four-year investigation.
Testosterone trafficking
A thinker of the Oregon Project, a very high level training group based in the northwest of the United States and funded by Nike, Salazar was notably accused of trafficking in testosterone. The training center created in 2001 has since been closed.
