From Larissa Marolt to Thorsten Legat: We would like to see these “jungle legends” in the all-star season.

After the jungle is before the jungle. In the reunion show for the 17th season that just ended Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) announced that an all-star relay is coming in the summer of 2024. Twelve former candidates will fight for the crown of all crowns in “I’m a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” in South Africa. It is not yet clear which celebrities will be there. But we already have a few wishes…

Brigitte Nielsen

There is no way around Brigitte Nielsen (60) in a best-of edition. The Dane brought a world star vibe to the jungle camp in season 6. With an alleged 150,000 euros, she received the highest “IBES” fee to date. After all, she was already filming with Arnold Schwarzenegger and was in a relationship with Sylvester Stallone. She told “Rammler” anecdotes about the latter around the campfire.

In broken German (“What’s going on in there”), Brigitte Nielsen became a cult candidate – and the only person who has been to the jungle camp twice so far. As the winner of the spin-off “I’m a star – let me back in!” She qualified for the tenth season. Another guest appearance would only be appropriate.

Larissa Marolt

For many experts such as trash TV authority Anja Rützel (“Der Spiegel”), Larissa Marolt (31) is the best jungle candidate of all time. The former “GNTM” participant drove her fellow campers to despair with her moodiness, clumsiness and Austrian accent. Winfried Glatzeder even hit her lightly on the arm when she wiped her hands on his shirt without being asked.

She went from being a hate figure to a crowd favorite and even came second in 2014. She simply belongs in an all-star squadron. “Bunt,” as she would say.

Sarah Knappik

Anyone who says Larissa Marolt also has to say Sarah “Dingens” Knappik (37). Also a former “GNTM” candidate, also a nightmare for her colleagues. In season 5 it got to the point where her fellow campers threatened to move out if Knappik didn’t move out. Mathieu Carrière even begged her on his knees to leave. The model finally showed insight. After she appeared somewhat reformed in “Battle of the Reality Stars” last year, a jungle comeback would be due.

Desirée Nick

In season 2, a woman sat on the jungle throne for the first time. Désirée Nick (67) once again shone with a sharp tongue and consciously polarized people. Second-placed Willi Herren in particular became her victim, begging the audience to vote the entertainer out. In 2023, Nick made headlines as the oldest cover model on the German “Playboy”.

Helena Prince

“You can stone me but can we please let Helena Fürst move in there again. This is pure entertainment,” wrote someone on Instagram under the announcement of the anniversary season. “Please, dear jungle god, let Helena Fürst be there,” seconded another user. Helena Fürst (49) truly earned the nickname Höllena in 2016.

Maren Gilzer

After all the scandalous pasta, we still need a balanced and balancing colleague. Maren Gilzer (64) comes in handy here. The former “Wheel of Fortune” fairy impressed as a camp mom in 2015 and became queen of the ninth season, which is, however, considered one of the most boring ever.

Thorsten Legat

Ex-footballer Thorsten Legat (55) took the jungle camp as a sporting challenge – and took on anyone who didn’t take it that way. Then there was Kasalla – Ruhrpott German for trouble. Kasalla was mainly between the Bochum native and Helena Fürst, whom he will hopefully meet in the legends relay.

Mathieu Carriere

In the story of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” By the way, there were also many male divas. For example, the aforementioned Mathieu Carrière (73). The actor behaved no less bitchy than Sarah Knappik, against whom he led a rebellion. His highlight: He peed on ice cubes in front of the cameras to melt them.

Joey Heindle

For women it was Evelyn Burdecki, for men it was Filip Pavlovic and Joey Heindle (30): candidates who may not be intellectuals, but who have their hearts in the right place, as the saying goes. With endearing naivety, Joey Heindle made it to the jungle throne in the seventh season of “IBES” after fifth place on “DSDS”.

Menderes Bağcı

Menderes Bağcı (39) also belongs to the Heindle category. The court jester from “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” surprised more than just the audience in the tenth season. “I’m positively surprised,” was his standard saying after successfully completing the exams. The would-be singer became the king of the jungle. Could he surpass himself again in a legend season?

Michael Wendler

Everyone deserves a second chance, even Wendler (51). Before drifting into conspiracy theories, he voluntarily left the jungle camp in 2014. He quickly regretted that and shouted “I’m a star – let me back in!”. In vain, of course. Now he could happily hang out around the campfire.

Mike Heiter

Dating show professional Mike Heiter (30) wanted to show himself as himself in the season that just ended and not as an appendage of various women. But he met his ex Kim Virginia and was besieged by Leyla Lahouar. So he couldn’t prove himself. Maybe directly in a second attempt at the jungle?
