The first days in the jungle camp, Tina Ruland didn’t notice much. From time to time she acted as a comforting fellow camper who didn’t have much to tell herself. In the meantime, however, the actress is at the center of some bitching.
Tina Ruland could have become the jungle camp candidate who stays nice in the background while the others have to go to exams and yell at each other over the campfire. In the early days of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! it actually looked like the “Manta Manta” actress was scurrying through the show unnoticed.

But in the past few days Ruland has blossomed from the inconspicuous to the riot noodle – and there was one reason above all: Anouschka Renzi. Renzi has been a thorn in the side of the actress in the camp for some time. It starts with her with Ruland’s voice. Because it was much too high, Renzi would rather have deeper voices in women, she said. The monotony makes her sound like a high school teacher. She also accused Ruland of ratting on her when she tried to hide two earbuds after luxury items were taken from campers.
On day seven in the jungle camp, the situation escalated further. This time Harald Glööckler was also part of the dispute. In his opinion, Ruland mercilessly exploited her position of power as team leader. And indeed, the 55-year-old admitted to enjoying being able to decide. “I’m going to take action now. It’s fun like this,” she said happily after she had assigned the night shift work. Too much of a good thing for Glööckler. “I don’t enjoy ordering people around like that. I’m rather reserved,” he emphasized, and then gave the Ruland the nickname “Commander”.
“Miss Rottenmeier”
Anouschka Renzi went one step further and referred to her colleague as “Miss Rottenmeier”. An unflattering name, after all, Heidi’s scratchy housekeeper is quite unsympathetic.
The most recent election showed how the viewers in front of the television screens assess Ruland. Because after she was allowed to be re-elected for examination after a long break, a majority voted directly for Ruland. A clear sign in the jungle camp universe, after all, the latently sadistic fans of the show want to see the candidates suffer.
