Josh O’Connor impresses in the films La Chimera and Challengers – Munich

He became world famous as the young Prince Charles in the Netflix series “The Crown”, but Josh O’Connor is very versatile and plays a wide variety of roles: The British actor has embodied gay sheep farmers, aspiring lawyers or ex-prisoners in love; he is currently a dowser can be seen in Munich cinemas. In Alice Rohrwacher’s festival hit “La Chimera” he leads a gang of grave robbers who are after Etruscan grave goods. The film is set in Italy in the 1980s; the young Brit uses his dowsing rod to not only track down hidden treasures, but also challenges the boundaries between dreams and reality.

You can experience Josh O’Connor from a completely different side in Luca Guadagnino’s new film “Challengers: Rivals”: He plays a tennis professional who falls in love with a trainer (played by the current Hollywood darling Zendaya) – who in turn is with his rival married on the tennis court. A ménage-à-trois in the world of professional sports, which will be shown in numerous previews before its national launch on April 25th.
