Jonathan Rhys Meyers (44) is sentenced to a suspended sentence of one year. In addition, the actor (“The Tudors”) has to pay a $500 fine and complete an alcohol counseling program. This reports “TMZ”. The American gossip site is said to have corresponding court documents.
Rhys Meyers faces two counts of drunk driving in Los Angeles. On top of that, he was charged with reckless behavior on the road.
According to “TMZ”, the Irishman is said to have entered into a deal in court. He agreed not to appeal the reckless driving charge. The court dropped the other two charges.

In November 2020, police arrested Jonathan Rhys Meyers. The actor had been in a minor car accident in Malibu. No one but himself was involved. As “People” reported at the time, the actor failed an alcohol test after the accident.
