This week’s “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” was again about “only” 15 minutes of broadcast time. Did the duo triumph again?

Halftime in the seventh season of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”: After last week’s great triumph, in which 24 hours of ProSieben airtime were given to Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40), presenter Steven Gätjen (51) has bad news for them both in their pockets: The risk variant – as in the previous two episodes – is no longer an option. He also makes it very clear that the previous week’s award was a one-off thing so Joko and Klaas are fighting for “only” 15 minutes of airtime .

Six prominent guests in the fight against Joko and Klaas

Joko and Klaas were able to score points in the first two rounds: in “Radius Müller Westernhagen” the two of them gained the advantage when playing darts thanks to Joko’s fantastic performance. The two entertainers also won the second round, “The Heimlich Maneuver,” in the hide-and-seek duel against Sophie Passmann (30) and Tommi Schmitt (35).

In game three, Joko and Klaas have two hours to move a piano out of the window onto the street in comic-film style – but in such a way that the famous ProSieben jingle can be played on it afterwards. Despite meters of bubble wrap and a children’s bouncy castle, the plan ultimately fails – a first defeat for the duo.

In rounds four and five, the experienced entertainer team can look forward to success again – and even more prominent guests. In game four, entitled “The Steif Brothers and the Easy Rounds,” the two were able to score despite Jokos suffering a shoulder injury and a handicapped Klaas. In “How Does the Black-backed Tapir Do?” Joko and Klaas win in an exciting head-to-head race with comedians Michael Mittermeier (58) and Till Reiners (39) when guessing sounds.

In the last round before the final, Joko and Klaas, despite having a lead, suffered defeat in the stunt duel with actor Emilio Sakraya (27) and actress Jeanne Gourseaud (28).

Punishment or airtime?

The finale is again about the famous 15 minutes of broadcast time – this time under the motto “Distribute attempts”. The duo must complete seven different tasks, including Scrabble, flipping pancakes and playing marbles. Beforehand, they have to distribute the maximum number of attempts that they will need to each task – plus the four advantages gained in the preliminary round.

But in the end even they don’t help Joko and Klaas out of trouble: at first the two fail miserably in their attempt to throw a pack of tissues from the back of their hand to the back of their hand, and in the end shooting cans thwarts their plans. The moderators now have to as a punishment design and program the graphics for the show next week (April 30th at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and on Joyn).

In total, Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf will compete against their home station three more times in the current season, with the last episode airing on May 14th.
