In the beautiful, not too wide or long Reichenbachstrasse, which leads off from Munich’s Gärtnerplatz in the Isarvorstadt, every facade, every shop is designed with the obsessive care of expensive old city center districts. The cramped residential quarters of once rather petty-bourgeois, if not poor, people have turned into monstrously valuable properties, which have now been spruced up with a correspondingly charming carelessness.
