20 years ago, the romantic comedy “30 Overnight” conquered cinemas. Just in time for the anniversary, the stars of the film celebrated, Jennifer Garner (52), Mark Ruffalo (56) and Judy Greer (48), a small reunion via video call. “Forever thirty, flirtatious and successful,” the trio wrote in a recording on Instagram, alluding to the film.

“20 years. We are three boomers defying Zoom – because we want to thank you. To every person who loved this film with us: thank you,” it continued. The actors joined the conversation from their private rooms. They talked about the changes over the last twenty years and reminisced. “When I get a pimple now, I get excited because I feel so young!” Garner joked.

The fan base of “30 Overnight” is large

The influence that “30 Overnight” still has on its fans worldwide today is enormous. “I met a little baby yesterday who was named Jenna after the movie,” Garner said. Ruffalo said that there are even cosplay events for the film. “You are the best fans you can have for this film,” summarized the American.

In “30 Overnight,” 13-year-old Jenna wishes she could finally grow up. Overnight her wish comes true and she wakes up as her 30-year-old self – played by Jennifer Garner. Ruffalo took on the role of her best friend, who has been in love with her since childhood. Greer portrayed her friend Lucy. The film grossed around $96.5 million in theaters worldwide.
