She could not bear that the one she had lodged for a year was to start over with another woman. Two years ago, a young man who had no roof was welcomed by a 47-year-old woman from Toulouse who decided to take him in. After a few months, he meets a young woman of his age, and settles with her in a new accommodation the following year.
The 40-year-old struggles to bear the move and the young man’s new life. Jealous, she regularly threatens the couple, in particular the new companion of 25 years, pregnant. In March, she goes so far as to strike him. At the end of last week, it went beyond simple harassment. Saturday, around 7 p.m., she went to their home and threatened the mother-to-be who was there with death. On returning, the man goes to her house and tells her to stop harassing them. With that, the couple went to dinner at the restaurant.
Placed in custody
When they returned, around 9.30 p.m., she was in the hall of the building, a chisel in her hand and struck the shoulder of the man she had lodged, then tried to stab him in the chest, before bite him on the arm. Falling to the ground, the Fury grabs a cobblestone and throws it at the young man at face level, the piece fracturing the young man’s toe as it falls to the ground. The 40-year-old flees, while her victims go to the hospital. The next day, in the middle of the afternoon, the couple lodged a complaint with the police and within the next hour, the jealous woman was arrested at her home. She has been in police custody since Sunday evening.
