Jana Kühl wants to transform Germany into a cycling nation

Despite high fuel prices and the bicycle boom, Germany remains a country of motorists. Jana Kühl, Professor of Bicycle Traffic Management, knows how we can change course now.

Jana Kühl studied geography, sociology and public law at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel and did her doctorate on spatial planning at the TU Dortmund. Since November 2020 she has been Germany’s first female professor for cycling management at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Salzgitter. In a current survey she asks citizens about their cycling habits and the traffic turnaround.
