Jail for a mule who expelled 121 cocaine eggs

It took him five days to expel, “under medical supervision”, the 121 cocaine eggs he had ingested. A 20-year-old young man from Guyana was sentenced on Friday to 18 months in prison, eight of which were suspended for having transported “in corpore” 110 grams of cocaine, indicates the prosecution.

The investigation established that the mule left Cayenne last weekend to arrive at Orly airport. The man then took a TGV from Paris to Brest, where he was checked by customs officers before being taken into custody last Monday.

The young man, who was imprisoned, will also have to pay a customs fine of 5,000 euros.
